I managed to make it all the way home including a stop for gas in Sun Prairie on the way back and only get a few rain drops on me. Those were because the lights at the intersection of International and Anderson didn't know I was there so I had to run a double red.
The ride back was fine, there was a detour around the section of 26 just north of Rosendale for some reason. Then it started getting windy as I met up with the front that was passing though just north of Columbus. Then it changed to one lane, and the person at the front of the pack was doing about 35, when the reduced speed was marked to 55. They finally pulled over and let the long line of cars that had built up pass. By then it was getting much darker and the gusts were not subsiding at all. My gas light started blinking so I stopped off in Sun Prairie for a pit lane style stop. Only thing that would make it faster would have been a "speedpass" and I have been tempted to get one for the bike so I don't have to dig for the card in the tank bag.
After getting home and unloading all of the stuff
Tonight I am going to try and clean up the house and get some of the lingering mess put where it belongs and maybe do some more arranging in the computer room, maybe hang some of the shelving.
